How it works and when to use it

How can I use this shortcut on my phone?

On a phone, you can try saving the code as a bookmark address. Copy the code below first.

iPhone (Safari): bookmark any page, touch and hold the bookmark, choose Edit, and replace its address with the copied code.

Android (Chrome): bookmark a page. Open Bookmarks, tap the three dots beside it, choose Edit, and replace its address with the copied code.

Then open the page you want to change and use the bookmark. If it does not run from the bookmarks menu, type the bookmark's name in the address bar and select its suggestion.

The effect applies to the open page. Check what any code does before running it in the console; your browser may show a security warning.

The button only changes filter and backdrop-filter when the value contains blur. It does not sign you in, accept terms, or unlock paid content.

Which kinds of blur can it remove?

Some pages haze a background, a panel, or a photo as a visual effect. The button looks for that blur and asks the filter to leave.

It checks filter and backdrop-filter. If the value contains blur, the entire filter is removed; effects combined with it, such as grayscale, may disappear too.

This does not open a login, remove a paywall, or reveal what the site only sends after permission. If the page did not load the content, there is nothing to show.

What it is for

It is for a visual effect of the page itself: frosted glass over text already in the HTML, a hazy background, a panel with decorative blur.

The click applies to what is already drawn. Blur the page applies later needs another click.

What it does not do

It does not fill in a password, subscribe to a plan, or confirm age. It does not press any button for you.

If the core of the page did not arrive in the load, removing the blur does not create that core.
